I have been a slot car enthusiast since 1967 when my neighbor took me to my first slot car track to watch him race. He was my "sitter" because I was almost 9 years old. He had this big wooden tool box that opened up and had all these parts in it. In the lower part of the box he had the coolest dark green Lola with the number 6 in a white circle on it. That car was heavy and had all these great parts you could take off and put on, switch around and so on to make it go faster. I was hooked.
Slot cars faded away after that and life continued forward for me. Then one day a few years ago I learned about a new digital slot car system and how slot cars were making a come back. See I learned about the digital slot cars while searching for a train set to build with my kids and grand kids. Screw the train set, I want the old slot cars back. Well digital sure isn't the OLD slot car system I remember.
Now I have an SCX digital system and I love it but there really isn't a lot of structures for my layout. I was frustrated and decided to do something about it and soon, I'll be releasing my product line of cool track side models. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have designing them.
